🔁 Migration Procedures

1. cPanel ➡️ Webuzo (Converter)

Overview: This is an in-place converter that runs on your cPanel server. It uninstalls cPanel, installs Webuzo, and converts all cPanel data (websites, domains, databases, emails, FTP accounts, SSL certificates, etc.) so everything remains intact.

Important: Create a full backup of your VPS/server before starting.

Commands:
wget -N http://files.webuzo.com/cpanel_webuzo_convert.sh
chmod 0755 cpanel_webuzo_convert.sh
./cpanel_webuzo_convert.sh

The conversion checks requirements, asks for confirmation, then proceeds. Logs are at /root/webuzo_convert/cpanel-webuzo-convert.log.
Recommended to use tmux or screen session to avoid disconnections.

2. cPanel ➡️ Webuzo (Importer)

Overview: This method requires a fresh Webuzo server. Data is imported from cPanel server to the new Webuzo server. IPs will be changed.

Use this if you want to keep the cPanel server running for comparison.

Steps:
- Setup new Webuzo server.
- Use Webuzo Importer tool or manual migration.
- Transfer sites, databases, emails.
- Update DNS or A records.

3. cPanel ➡️ CyberPanel

Note: No official one-click migration tool available.

Manual Migration Steps:
- Generate full account backups from WHM.
- Transfer files to CyberPanel server using scp or rsync.
- Extract website files into /home/domain.com/public_html.
- Restore databases via phpMyAdmin or CLI.
- Recreate email accounts manually.
- Optionally keep DNS on WHM temporarily.

CyberPanel supports AlmaLinux and works well with OpenLiteSpeed for speed benefits.
